In order to facilitate machining operations such as threading or drilling, all kinds of preparations, lubricants and oils are used. Lubrication not only improves the cutting process itself, but also extends the service life of the tools. The machining of wood in particular (sawing, milling) causes the cutting tools to quickly become dirty and stuck, e.g. from resin, which results in a deterioration of the product quality and shortens the service life of the tools. This is why it is necessary to clean the tooling with a suitable preparation after finishing work. Also, when not in use for a long period of time, it is necessary to protect cutting parts and machining table surfaces, e.g. with grease, in order to prevent corrosion of metal components.
